Trezirea la realitate

Cine ar fi crezut ca viata nu este de multe ori ceea ce pare? Ca de multe ori este necesara o trezire la realitate? Traim mai mult in lumea viselor?

Greu domle'! Greu! Dincolo era mai usor! :)

To conclude: we should always remember that "if you want your dreams to come true, you have to wake up first"..

Industria siderurgica.. what was I thinking?

Yep.. asta mi-am ales, de asta am parte! Urmatoarele luni vor fi terbile! :) Traduceri din engleza in romana, toate legate de acest domeniu. Again: WHAT WAS I THINKING OF? Was I thinking at all? Da.. dar in situatia de criza in care eram o alta idee mai mareatza nu am avut. Asa ca acum I just have to deal with it; sa scot ce e mai bun din treaba asta.

Si toate pentru un scop nobil: lucrarea de licentza.
I can do it! But it will take a lot of time!

Smelly cat

This is the story of a trip.. me and Cri coming home from the Czech Republic. It’s a true story! I will present it as we wrote it that night! Attention! It may contain explicit words!

"10-11 February 2007

2:18 AM
The trip to the Deep Dark Forests of Transylvania begun with the packing yesterday until 2 a.m.! After dinner with Tomi, we packed everything for 2 hours and when the work was complete we took photos (it was Diana’s masterpiece – Gabi filmed it) =)) famous twice!
In the morning we woke up FRESH at 7:30 o’clock and we went to the bus station in Ostrava. Tomi came with us. Thank God! (now eating banana).
Student Agency bus took us to Brno! There they left us hopeless and disoriented! We managed to find the nicest persons in Brno! 2 girls, one pregnant and the other one not! :)They took us to Zvonarka by car! Thank God!

After shitting 1 hour and a half there Cristina didn’t want to move to line 38! (a man came and told me to move, as the bus was supposed to arrive there).
Shitting is a good word for the smell in the bus now! It smells like cabbage! Probably the other driver was impatient! He wanted to drive this smelling bus and he was expressing his desire by using the power of the cabbage smell! Unbelievable! Thank God they changed seats! The crowd in the back couldn’t take it any more!!! Neither did we!! (in front of the pack!!!) There are not enough exclamation points here..
Pepe is sleeping now and Cristina wants a photo..
Ok! Let’s get back to the story. Line 38! And guess who was there to pink us up. Pepe and the driver up-mentioned! Yes! It was him! And his friend with the unknown brand of perfume!
After half an hour of arguments we attacked the “shitting bus” with out luggage. Or should I say hand-luggage: 2 trolleys, 3 backpacks, one laptop bag, one tashca and one other piece of luggage that we cannot name now. Cristina owns them! And I packed them! All her fortune is inside! Too bad we have to pay for them 200kc because only one is allowed, I mean free. Pepe snores now..
So, we will pay when we get home. Is not like we don’t have money.. we are Romanians!..
When we entered za bus thousands of eyes surrounded us. Especially Cricketa because she was in front. And my back because I was the last one. In between the luggage.. sorry, hand-luggage!
Cristina decided to occupy a seat in the upper half of the bus, but, surprise-surprise, as we were the last ones, no seats were available any more! Thank God one Czech Boy helped us. He left his seat after he read despair in Cristina’s eyes. We took over his place, this beautiful place with a great view on and over Pepe and of course, the road. We never saw that boy again.
Shit! One more bomb attacked us! Where do they come from? Every time more and more powerful! Maybe we will not be able to concentrate furthermore. The reality might not be presented so accurate, the English too.
Uhh! We decided to publish this! It’s too good not to use it! People must know.. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!
Breathe! In-out-in-out..
It seems like we survived this one too! We did it again! Damn, we’re good! 5 months outside the country made us so strong!
Moving on.. we made friends and we tied great and healthy friendships with some “ladies” from this shitty bus. They embody the true and picturesque image of the “working-abroad-Romanian-woman”. They were nice! They fed us, defend us from the manele enthusiastic fans and in the end they even called us their daughters. Isn’t that nice?
We listened to billions of touching and heart-breaking manele. Our ears were shut down for a few hours. I suggested Cristina to concentrate on the landscape in order to endure the sound. It didn’t work because a WISE GUY kept on shouting every 5 minutes: LOUDER!!
Now, as we approach the capital city of Hunedoara, Deva, we have folk music on the air. Our wounds will never heal! We can only hope to reach the Deep Dark Forests of our Beloved Transylvania soon! Thank God we have MTV for good quality music or radios like: Dinamic, Europa FM or Guerrilla.
In the mean time we ate the delicious sandwiches we made in Ostrava and we talked about our experiences and impressions as Erasmus students in Belgium and the Czech Republic. As you may guess.. we talked a lot!

3:11 a.m.
Time for a break! Maybe nap. After all this feelings and intense emotions we need it.
Phuck! Cristina spotted a new bomb coming upon us! We will interrupt this for a few moments to hide from it.
……………few moments pass…………
The wave passed us! Still running normally. But who knows with what he will hit us next.

4:39 a.m.
We are back after a tortured sleep, if we can call it like that. Now we are finally in Deva. The kamikaze driver was supposed to be an experienced guide of the Romanian roads, but I think it’s taking longer than expected to get us back home to Brasov. It’s raining.. this could be an explanation.
And I would like to add that Pepe’s ass is WUNDERBAR! :) Acord total from Diana’s point of view.
And now, rubrica noptii: STIATI CA:
Simeria:
- are cel mai mare parc dendrologic, unique in Europe
- se fabrica marmura, in the past cojoace
- este un important nod de comunicatii

6:30 a.m.
We are suffocating. Pepe is driving and he forgot to open the conditioned air. He’s concentrating too much on the road. Or, the more plausible version, he used the heat to reduce all of us to silence. Good strategy Pepe! But you cannot stop our words from filling up these pages.
Cristina just finished her water reserve. Me, I have only a few zips left. Luckily we reached Sibiu. Finally! Some fresh air! Thank God! We will survive again!
WHAT CANNOT KILL YOU, MAKES YOU STRONGER!

?:? a.m.
We closed the mobile phones to save energy, so we don’t know the hour. We are once again hungry. Cristina ate one of “the depressing cookies” which were supposed to be used while going through the memories of the Erasmus period.
Romania is simply amazing! After 5 months of high quality life living on EU expenses we are coming back to this “huge, deep, shit hole of mud”.
But we have to be optimistic and look into the horizon. And what do we see? The mountains. B-E-A-UTIFUL! And some light.. it’s morning!
Writing this became incredibly hard. The roads have holes. Some pieces are missing from this puzzle.
We just crossed the Olt river, one of the biggest rivers of Romania. That’s all we can say about it. Aaaa! Maybe only the fact that it flows into the Danube.
We have to follow E68 road to get to Brasov and this nightmare, that kept us awake the whole day, will be over. Thank God! We are almost safe! Almost!
The mountains are covered with snow. This is typical for Romania! Love it! You see, there are also good parts about this country, you just have to discover them.

7:30 a.m., at least this is what the Bulgarian watch shows.
This is both annoying and disappointing.
The sun is rising. Great view! I can’t describe this.. you should be here to see it!
99 km to Brasov.. the waiting kills us softly!
A light bomb hit us again. It doesn’t matter anymore.. we are immune.
46 km to go. With an average speed of 80km/h we should be there in half an hour.

These are our last words.. our last moments together. It was…… Cristina is in the middle of a nervous breakdown. At least there is snow. It’s great to live in the mountains. Alone, with your sheep, away from trouble, smells and humans. I would like to be like the snow. Covering everything and melting when I don’t feel like staying there any more. The best part is that I can always come back next year.

I can’t believe I was born in a country like Romania! I don’t belong here for sure! But, I will fight to be the best and to escape from this living nightmare.. I’m sorry I feel like this, but.. is what I feel!!!"

Thx for reading our story.. you’ve been a wonderful reader.
