1st sunrise of 2010

The plan on this 1st day of 2010 was to wake up early and catch the first sunrise of the year. My brother came with the idea and I signed up immediately. Quite inspiring some may say, but for me it was nothing like that. 

It was just the real pleasure of feeling the warmth of the morning sun - something that I hadn't experienced in a while since I usually wake up around noon :D

Missing Belgium

I was talking yesterday with a colleague of mine from work about Belgium. Next week she will go on a trip there.. Brussels, Brugge, perhaps Gent.

This is Brugge - my favourite city next to Gent :)

Ohh.. I miss it so much! I would really like to go back there again!

I should plan something for this year!

Paris vs. Rome

Which one is more romantic?
Tough choice! Ambele orase au un farmec aparte, un "je ne sais quoi".
Lasand la o parte atractiile turistice fiecare ascunde locuri deosebite.. ceva din ce au fost ele pana a fi "invadate" de turisti si imigranti. Anotimpul ales pentru vizite: toamna! Aici stiu sigur ca nu am dat gres caci toamna e cel mai romantic anotimp :)

Lucruri de luat in calcul si analizat: parcuri, copaci, banci, cafenele (localuri), strazi, poduri, atmosfera de zi si de noapte, iluminarea orasului, arhitectura cladirilor, localnici, posibile activitati, arta, muzica, gastronomie.. tot ceea ce defineste un oras si ii da un nume.

Daca ar fi sa aleg as alege Paris-ul. Are mai multe locuri in care te poti refugia si mi s-a parut ca are si atmosfera potrivita :)

Daca as pleca 2 zile de acasa si ar veni cei de la "While you were out" sa-mi renoveze camera as vrea sa apara obiecte de genul celor de mai jos.

Once again - Erasmus in Kortrijk

Hey hey!!! December 7 - December 9 was the Erasmus reunion of the 2006 generation at Katho. It was very nice to come back and meet everybody once again! We went to our favourite pub - 't Kanon and partied like in the good old times :)

Below are just a few photos, more will be available on-line soon enough for my Erasmus colleagues. I'm looking forward to our next meeting in Italy, Rome!
